Media Hysteria Erupts Over Trump FBI Pick Kash Patel’s So-called Enemies List

A fresh wave of hysteria has gripped the mainstream media, especially since President-elect Donald Trump announced his pick for FBI Director, Kash Patel. The media mob and their Democratic cohorts have launched a coordinated campaign to paint Patel as some kind of villain with an “enemies list.” Spoiler alert: it doesn’t exist. Media outlets like the New York Times are stirring the pot with sensational claims about Patel allegedly keeping a tally of adversaries, all while conveniently ignoring the facts.

First off, Patel’s recent book, “Government Gangsters: The Deep State, the Truth, and the Battle for Our Democracy,” contains what some in the media have mischaracterized as an “enemies list.” This supposed list—featured in a harmless appendix of names—is simply a rundown of government officials who dared to oppose Trump. There’s no mention of “enemies list” anywhere in the text; it’s a pathetic attempt by leftist outlets to create a narrative that doesn’t hold water. This appendix does not detail personal vendettas, but instead highlights those Patel identifies as part of the “shadowy cabal” undermining American democracy.

The New Republic and the Times have taken it into overdrive, implying that those named in Patel’s appendix somehow constitute a dire threat to the Republic. They’ve insisted that President Biden should intervene and pardon everyone listed, as if these individuals, including the likes of former House Speaker Paul Ryan and Vice President Kamala Harris, are political martyrs. Patel’s intent was much clearer—crafting a narrative to expose the bureaucratic swamp creatures sabotaging Trump’s presidency.

In Patel’s framework, these members of the “deep state” represent a substantial threat, the likes of which would make any James Bond villain proud. Yet, underneath their dramatic flair, the left seems to forget that Patel simply points out those who have acted against the elected President. Their framing of the story reflects more on their desperation to label any dissent as unlawful persecution than a genuine exploration of the issues at hand.

Moreover, the media has twisted Patel’s claims into a soap opera, dredging up the “insurrection” narrative linked to January 6. Patel doesn’t mince words; the implications are clear. The “deep state,” he argues, is responsible for using this so-called insurrection as an excuse to launch a relentless campaign against patriots who supported Trump. Meanwhile, the so-called left-oriented voices rally together, linking arms in their crusade to defend the swamp while labeling anyone challenging the status quo as dangerous.

Even as the media machine clanked out these baseless accusations, Patel’s book was designed as a precautionary tale—not a scorecard of retribution. Listing individuals such as CIA Director John Brennan or former FBI operative Lisa Page might sound sinister to some, but without the context of their actions against Trump, it’s as credible as claiming that a grocery list is a “hit list.” At its core, this episode highlights a classic case of leftist projection: a desperate attempt to divert attention from the swamp’s deep-rooted corruption while attempting to vilify anyone who dares to expose it.
