In the great state of Michigan, the circus of liberal politics continues as Democratic Representative Shri Thanedar finds himself in a comedic predicament. The man who thought his standout move would be filing impeachment papers against Donald Trump is now getting smacked around by his own leftist allies. His failed attempt to rally support has turned into an embarrassing flop, exposing the cracks in the Democrats’ shaky agenda.
Thanedar, who seemed to believe his anti-Trump tactics would make him a hero, instead finds himself on the receiving end of more slaps than a piñata at a birthday party. Even Representative Rashida Tlaib, another Democrat with a penchant for stirring the pot, has backed a different candidate against her own colleague. Talk about friendly fire! It’s almost as if the Democrats are in a contest to see who can outdo each other in their own political Game of Thrones.

This ill-fated impeachment crusade culminated in an “Impeachment Town Hall,” which turned out to be less of a crowd-puller and more of a silent retreat. With only 27 attendees, the event had less energy than a Sunday morning AA meeting. Clearly, even the liberal folks in Michigan are tired of the same old Trump-bashing, as leaders like Thanedar cling to their anti-Trump agenda in a desperate attempt to stay relevant.
It’s moments like these that remind us of the powerhouses of conservative journalism, like the legendary Andrew Breitbart. Bold voices like Breitbart’s, and now Charlie LeDuff’s, expose the inadequacies of those trying to fool the American public. They cut through the fluff and reveal the truth—an art that sorely misses in today’s political landscape.
While the Democrats busily attack each other, the conservative movement keeps its focus steady. Maybe what the liberals should focus on is actually serving the people of Michigan and the nation. But we know that’s not on their agenda, is it? The Democrat Party may want people to keep following their globalist path, but the people are waking up. The question is, when will they learn from their mistakes?
