The liberal media’s effort to revive their sinking ship takes another disastrous turn with MSNBC’s latest lineup. In a move showcasing their classic penchant for misplaced confidence, MSNBC handed former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki a coveted primetime slot. The result? A spectacular nosedive in viewership, further slashing an already plummeting audience. Shockingly—or perhaps not so much for those of us watching—ratings have tanked, with Psaki’s show failing to even sniff a million viewers.
One of MSNBC’s most glaring missteps was thinking that Psaki could fill the shoes of Rachel Maddow during the midweek 9 pm slot. Maddow, despite her own dwindling audience, was once a major draw for the network. In an era where liberal media continues to underestimate the intelligence of everyday Americans, this was a gamble gone horribly wrong. How could anyone expect the press flack from the Biden era to hold a candle to the ratings monster that was a Maddow fresh off covering the turbulent early days of Trump’s second term?
It is simple. People are tired of the mainstreams BS, lies and coverups.

But it’s not just Psaki suffering at MSNBC. Their entire lineup is crumbling like a house of cards. “The Weeknight,” an unwatchable panel show, is another glaring example of how out of touch the network is with what Americans care about. Replacing Joy Reid’s fearmongering didn’t improve things; it just swapped one failing liberal echo chamber for another. The left continues to believe that a merry-go-round of the same voices will somehow produce innovative content. Hint: it won’t.
Meanwhile, conservative networks dominate the ratings war. Competing with the likes of Sean Hannity was always going to be a losing battle for Psaki and her colleagues. Americans don’t want lectures—they want truth, honest reporting, and diverse perspectives free from liberal bias. Fox News commands the cable news landscape, with “The Five” demonstrating once again that substance trumps politically correct drivel any day of the week.
But here’s a thought to chew on: when will the liberal media realize that their woke narrative is driving viewers further away? Audiences don’t want politically charged agendas shoved down their throats. They want to hear the issues facing them, their families, and their country—something MSNBC consistently fails to deliver. It’s time for mainstream media to face the music and realize they can’t keep ignoring the voices of millions of Americans who demand better.
