Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has bravely announced that the Israeli military is gearing up to take down the last remaining Hamas strongholds in Rafah, near Gaza’s border with Egypt. This comes after painstaking negotiations in Cairo, Egypt, in an attempt to strike a deal with Hamas and secure the release of Israeli hostages, some of whom are sadly already deceased.

Netanyahu made it crystal clear that the top priority is to secure the release of all Israeli hostages and to achieve a resounding victory over Hamas. He emphasized the need to enter Rafah and wipe out the terrorist battalions once and for all, firmly stating, “This will happen; there is a date.”
The Biden administration has been throwing a wrench in the works, opposing an Israeli incursion into Rafah and spouting vague alternative methods for dealing with Hamas. However, they conveniently failed to provide any specifics about these supposed alternative tactics. It seems the Biden administration is more interested in posturing than taking concrete action to support our ally, Israel.
Reports coming out of Cairo are conflicting, with some suggesting progress in the negotiations, while others claim that Hamas is stubbornly refusing to cooperate. Shockingly, there are even reports that many hostages may have already met a tragic fate.
In the face of such high-stakes diplomatic and military maneuvering, it’s clearer than ever that Israel needs unwavering support to defend itself from terrorist threats. Netanyahu’s resolve in the face of adversity stands as a testament to the resilience of the Israeli people. As the tension mounts, the world watches with bated breath, hoping for a swift and decisive end to this harrowing ordeal.
