Another day, another tragedy in New York City as a crazed gunman terrorized innocent Americans in Midtown Manhattan. Shane Tamura, a 27-year-old Muslim extremist from Las Vegas, opened fire with an AR-15 inside a busy office building on Park Avenue. Six people are dead and six more wounded, including brave NYPD officers who rushed toward danger while others ran away.
The bloodbath happened Monday evening at 345 Park Avenue, home to major companies like JP Morgan and the NFL headquarters. Workers were forced to evacuate with their hands up like criminals while the real criminal was shooting up their workplace. This is what happens when soft-on-crime policies let dangerous people roam our streets freely.
Tamura barricaded himself on the 33rd floor before taking the coward’s way out and ending his own life. But not before he stole the lives of six innocent Americans who were just trying to make an honest living. These victims had families, dreams, and futures that were cut short by yet another act of senseless violence.
Our brave men and women in blue once again put their lives on the line to protect New Yorkers. Two officers were shot while responding to this massacre, proving that our police are the thin blue line between civilization and chaos. They deserve our respect and support, not the hatred spewed by the radical left.
This shooting comes as no surprise to anyone paying attention to the crime wave destroying American cities. Liberal mayors and district attorneys have created a culture where criminals feel emboldened to commit unspeakable acts. Their failed policies have turned once-great cities into war zones.
The mainstream media will probably focus on gun control instead of the real issues. They will ignore the fact that this was likely another act of radical Islamic terrorism on American soil. They refuse to call evil by its name because it doesn’t fit their woke narrative.
Law-abiding Americans are tired of being sitting ducks while politicians play politics with our safety. We need leaders who will stand up to the radical left and restore law and order to our streets. Enough is enough.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families during this difficult time. But prayers alone won’t stop the next attack. We need action, and we need leaders with the courage to take it.
