New York’s Safety at Risk as Progressive Candidate Targets Anti-Prostitution Wins

New York City’s fight against prostitution faces a critical moment. Mayor Eric Adams’ crackdown cleaned up Roosevelt Avenue, but now a far-left candidate threatens to undo this progress. Hardworking Americans deserve safe streets, not a return to lawlessness.

Operation Restore Roosevelt made nearly 1,000 arrests since last fall. Police cleared out brothels and reduced crime by almost a third. This success shows what strong leadership can achieve for our communities.

But liberals want to hand our streets back to criminals. Sex workers are organizing rallies demanding “rights, not raids.” They’re pushing to legalize their trade, which would make neighborhoods unsafe for families.

Community leaders begged the NYPD to keep fighting. They mapped 14 active brothels still operating on Roosevelt Avenue. These illegal spots attract drugs and violence, hurting local businesses and children.

The NYPD’s padlock orders could shut down brothels for good. But radical DAs refuse to prosecute these cases properly. Without tough enforcement, these dens of crime just reopen days later.

Now a radical mayoral candidate, Zohran Mamdani, promises to end the crackdown. His far-left policies would put criminals first. This is how cities decay – by caving to progressive activists instead of protecting citizens.

If Mamdani wins, the “Red Light District” will return. Prostitution will flood Roosevelt Avenue again, bringing filth and chaos. Our children should not have to see that.

Patriots must stand with law enforcement. Let’s keep our cities clean and safe by supporting leaders who enforce the law.
