He claimed Trump was attacking democracy, but most Americans saw a leader trying to protect innocent people and businesses.
The California governor seems more focused on running for president in 2028 than fixing his own state’s problems. His fancy speech this week looked like a campaign commercial. Newsom stood in front of flags and used big words to sound important, but everyday Americans aren’t fooled by his act.
California is a mess under Newsom’s watch. The streets are dirty. Crime is out of control. Gas prices are sky high. Families are leaving the state in record numbers because they can’t afford to live there anymore. Instead of solving these real problems, Newsom is busy making podcasts and appearing on TV shows.
We’ve seen this movie before. Democrats already tried to sell us a California politician when they picked Kamala Harris. That didn’t work out too well for them. Now they want to try again with another slick-talking liberal from the Golden State.
Fox News reporter Katie Pavlich spoke the truth when she ripped into Newsom this week. She pointed out how his policies have hurt regular Californians while he plays politics on the national stage. Even people in his own state don’t seem excited about a Newsom run for the White House.
The riots in Los Angeles show exactly why Newsom would be wrong for America. When the city needed strong leadership to stop the violence, Trump stepped up. Newsom complained about it instead of thanking the President for keeping people safe.

Patriotic Americans can see through Newsom’s act. We don’t need another smooth-talking California liberal in the White House. We need leaders who will stand up for law and order, protect our borders, and put America first. Gavin Newsom has shown he will do none of those things.
