Noem Blasts Haley VP Buzz: “Trump, Don’t Make That Mistake!”

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem sure didn’t hold back when she weighed in on the possibility of former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley becoming ex-President Donald Trump’s running mate. During a chat with Newsmax’s Eric Bolling, Noem, who’s all in for Trump, didn’t mince words. She straight up said it would be a big ol’ mistake for Trump to pick Haley as his VP if he secures the Republican nomination.

She added that if Trump did pick Haley, she’d be upfront with the ex-President about disagreeing with him, but, hey, she’s still backing the ticket because, well, he’s the boss. Noem didn’t shy away from dishing out the dirt on why she’s not a fan of Haley, saying she’s had oodles of disagreements with her over the years and can’t predict which version of Nikki Haley will strut in every day. Noem even threw shade, claiming Haley is a shape-shifter who morphs into whatever helps her political game.

It seems like Noem isn’t the only one who’s not vibing with the thought of Haley as a potential Trump sidekick. The talk about Haley sliding into the running mate role has been swirling ever since there was chatter from Governor Ron DeSantis’s camp that she had her sights set on that gig. Then, there were whispers about Trump tossing around the idea to his peeps, with some allies hustling to nix the idea.
