In a shocking turn of events, a senior Defense Department official has been caught running a dogfighting ring. Yes, you read that right, folks. Frederick Douglass Moorefield Jr., the Pentagon’s deputy chief information officer for command, control, and communications, has allegedly been involved in promoting and furthering this horrific animal fighting venture. Can you believe it?
Pentagon Official Charged With Running Vicious Dogfighting Ring Where Wounded Animals Were Executed With Jumper Cables….https://t.co/qytMRGyz79

It all started back in 2018 when the bodies of two dogs were found wrapped in plastic bags. And guess whose name was on the mail found in those very bags? You guessed it, Frederick Douglass Moorefield Jr. Now, it seems that those dog bite wounds on the deceased canines were consistent with organized dogfighting. This guy allegedly sponsored the fights himself! Talk about a real tough guy, huh?
But it gets even worse, folks. When the authorities searched Moorefield’s and his co-defendant Mario Blythe’s residences, they found an absolute horror show. There were twelve dogs, veterinary steroids (because apparently, these fighters need their performance-enhancing drugs too), training schedules (gotta stay disciplined in the world of dogfighting), a carpet stained with what appears to be blood, and get this – jumper cables! Yes, jumper cables allegedly used to electrocute the poor animals who were already injured during these vicious face-offs. It’s hard to fathom the cruelty and callousness on display here.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I find it absolutely disgusting that a person in such a high-ranking position would be involved in such heinous activities. This is the kind of person we trust to protect our country? It’s truly a sad state of affairs. And yet, it seems that the Pentagon is being rather tight-lipped about the whole situation. They confirmed Moorefield is no longer working there, but couldn’t provide any further details. Typical government bureaucracy, sweeping things under the rug.
One would think that a person with such a prestigious position in the Defense Department would have undergone a thorough background check, including a review of their character. But it seems that someone dropped the ball big time here. Did they not notice any red flags? Or did they just turn a blind eye? Either way, this raises serious questions about the competence and judgment of those in charge.
To add insult to injury, Moorefield and his co-defendant used encrypted messages on Telegram to communicate about their sinister dogfighting operation. They even had cutesy little aliases like “Geehad Kennels” and “Razor Sharp Kennels.” Isn’t that just precious? While decent, law-abiding citizens are using encrypted messaging apps to protect their privacy, these guys were using it to plan and coordinate the maiming and killing of innocent animals. Sickening.
Let’s hope that justice is served swiftly in this case. People who engage in such barbaric activities have no place in our society, let alone in positions of power. It’s time for the Pentagon to take a long, hard look at their vetting process and ensure that individuals like Moorefield never slip through the cracks again. Animals deserve better, and so do we.
