One of the reasons for Trump’s growing support among these voters is cited as “nostalgia” for his first term in office. Many battleground voters continue to view Trump’s first term positively, while President Biden’s disapproval ratings remain high.
Furthermore, the survey revealed that voters are focused on real-world issues such as inflation, the Israel-Hamas conflict, and the crisis at the southern border. Many voters are unhappy with Biden’s handling of these issues and are looking for alternative solutions.
The survey also highlighted the impact of Biden’s policies on traditional Democratic groups. For instance, the poll found that a significant majority of voters reject the extreme pro-Palestinian protests and do not support Biden’s push to change Title IX rules to allow biological males to compete in women’s sports.
