Portland has once again proven why it’s the poster child for the left’s delusional and disorderly protests. This time, hundreds of self-proclaimed “activists” decided to strip down—literally—and hop on their bikes to stage an “emergency” protest against President Trump’s immigration policies. Not just a regular bike ride, mind you, but a naked parade through chilly streets, all in the name of some half-baked cause involving immigration, “militarization,” and, bizarrely, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Only in Portland could a protest look like a circus sideshow wrapped in political virtue signaling. These are grown adults willingly exposing themselves to the elements—apparently their version of bravery—while cycling six miles to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility. Their grand finale? A silent “die-in” on the street, pretending their nudity and feigned martyrdom somehow make a point, when really it just underlines the pathetic depths to which the left has sunk to get attention.
Make no mistake: this is not about genuine policy debate or reasoned disagreement. This is about spectacle, distraction, and cheap theatrics. These clowns want to talk about “systemic cruelty” in immigration—but the same state of Oregon is spending more taxpayer dollars on free healthcare for illegal immigrants than on the state police. If they cared so much about “justice,” maybe they’d start with demanding enforcement of laws before breaking them in such juvenile ways.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are watching as these Portland protesters throw tantrums at the exact government offices trying to protect our borders and enforce our laws. And as if that wasn’t enough, they shamelessly dragged in the “genocide in Palestine” talking point days after a ceasefire was brokered. The radical left’s outrage has no boundaries. They’ll tie any cause to Trump-bashing, no matter how unrelated or ridiculous, just to keep the anger machine churning.
President Trump’s common-sense move to send in the National Guard to restore some order was quickly blocked by a federal judge—yet another example of the liberal courts siding with chaos over law and order. Meanwhile, anarchist elements in these protests openly threaten government operations, including aiming lasers at aircraft, prompting warnings from federal agencies. This isn’t a protest. It’s sedition masquerading as activism.
Portland is rotting from the inside out, a city where left-wing lunacy isn’t just accepted—it’s exported. When your protesters parade around in the cold with nothing but socks and wigs, you know you’re dealing with a movement desperate for relevance. This naked nonsense may grab headlines, but it only exposes the emptiness of their cause and the hypocrisy of a city that enables lawlessness. How long until the rest of America wakes up and demands Portland’s brand of insanity be quarantined?
