In a nation where patriotism should run rampant and admiration for strong leadership is paramount, the unraveling drama of Sen. Rand Paul’s criticism of President Trump’s decisive action against Venezuelan drug traffickers is disgraceful. America is battling an insidious war against drugs and those who push this poison. Our President isn’t just talking about the problem—he’s bombarding it, quite literally.
What type of backstabbing brings about an attack against a leader taking necessary action to safeguard our borders? Trump knew that this wasn’t simply about one boat on the sea. It was about sending a message that America will no longer tolerate being the highway for drugs. Yet, despite this, Rand Paul acted like it was a scene out of some Hollywood flick, where the protagonist second-guesses the mission. In reality, such indecision endangers American lives.
Damn! I hope this is accurate!! She lied her ass off & she was encouraged to do that by a person who does this kind of thing to hurt Republicans routinely. pic.twitter.com/hO3ULAvbYL

Paul’s never-ending cowboy routine of “Where does it end?” is old news and fundamentally misses the point. It ends when America is safe. It ends when our families can live without fear of outside monsters trying to infiltrate our lands with contraband and crime. This isn’t about police work; it’s about defending American soil against foreign threats. Isn’t that what being a U.S. Senator should support?
While Rand may continue with his isolationist fantasy that looks the other way under the guise of “libertarian ideals,” many Americans sense the arrogance of such narratives. It smacks of turning our backs on global security concerns which sneak into our backyards. How many more drug cartels would he allow into our neighborhoods before realizing they don’t knock politely?
People are tired of leaders who balk at actions which decisively cut the head off the snake. Trump’s move wasn’t just a strike; it was a bold proclamation that America stands firm against anarchic wrongdoings. So, as we find ourselves at the crossroads between inaction and proactivity, one wonders: Why would any respectable politician want a weak America?
