Washington is really outdoing itself these days. Now we have Rep. Jamie Raskin raising a fuss about trademark applications connected to President Trump’s Board of Peace. Raskin decided to throw a fit because the federal patent office submitted these applications for President Trump—gasp!—instead of letting other bureaucrats take the lead. Is that really the crisis keeping Democrats up at night? You’ve got to be kidding.
Only in the twisted world of Washington liberals does trademark paperwork become a “scandal” if it touches anything Trump has achieved. Never mind that President Trump’s Board of Peace is about putting America’s interests first on the world stage. Forget that real results come from Trump’s approach—negotiating strength, not groveling weakness. The left yells “corruption” every time Trump breathes, but stays silent every time their own side plays dirty.

Just look at Raskin’s priorities here. Instead of worrying about America’s border, soaring crime, or rising prices crushing the middle class, he wants the federal government tied up in knots over who filed an application for a trademark. This is exactly why people are sick of career politicians. They’d rather hunt down paperwork “crimes” than tackle the real disasters hitting working families.
Let’s not forget, these are the same Democrats who drooled over so-called “international norms,” slobbering all over global elites. When Trump steps up, builds coalitions, and puts American peace and prosperity above all else, suddenly it’s a problem. The Board of Peace under Trump isn’t just another meaningless DC panel—it’s a symbol of putting America first, not bending the knee to the UN.
So what is Raskin really afraid of? Maybe he’s worried that a Trump idea might actually succeed—and give Americans hope again. Maybe the left can’t stand the idea of any good news coming out of the Trump team, so they invent scandals about trademarks. Here’s a thought: instead of whining about paperwork, how about delivering results? Or is that just too much to ask from the big-government crowd?
If Democrats are this rattled by simple trademark applications, what will they do when Trump returns and really starts shaking things up? Maybe it’s time they stop crying wolf and start doing their jobs.
