Republicans Demand Social Media Probe After Church Shooting

A shocking attack on innocent children at prayer has rocked Minneapolis, and now Republicans are demanding answers about what online poison infected the shooter’s mind. Robin Westman, a 23-year-old who identified as transgender, gunned down two children and wounded 17 others during Mass at Annunciation Catholic Church. The victims were just kids trying to worship God in peace.

FBI Director Kash Patel revealed this was domestic terrorism fueled by pure hate. The killer scrawled anti-Catholic slurs on weapons and filled a sick manifesto with threats against Christians and Jews. Westman even wrote “kill Donald Trump” on gun magazines, showing how deep the radical left’s poison had spread.

Republican Rep. Jimmy Patronis is now calling on Patel to expose exactly which social media apps destroyed this young person’s mind. These platforms are feeding our kids a steady diet of hate, confusion, and violence. Parents deserve to know which apps are turning children into monsters.

The shooter bought three guns legally, proving once again that the problem isn’t law-abiding gun owners. The real issue is the toxic online world that’s radicalizing vulnerable young people against faith, family, and country. Social media giants are getting rich while our kids get brainwashed.

This attack targeted Catholics specifically, part of a growing war on religious Americans. The killer’s manifesto shows exactly the kind of anti-Christian hate that the left has been pushing for years. Now that hatred has turned deadly in our churches and schools.

Westman even planned a YouTube video to spread more poison after the attack. These social media companies let killers use their platforms to recruit followers and spread manifestos. They need to be held accountable for the blood on their hands.

Governor Tim Walz had to send state police to protect other schools and churches from copycat attacks. This is what happens when we let radical ideologies run wild online without consequences. Our children are paying the price for Big Tech’s greed.

Two innocent kids are dead because we failed to protect them from online predators selling hate. Rep. Patronis is right to demand transparency about which apps fed this killer’s sick mind. Every parent in America deserves those answers right now.
