On March 26, 2023, ESPN shamelessly showcased Thomas as part of their “Celebrating Women’s History Month” segment, applauding Thomas for winning NCAA championships in women’s swimming events. Meanwhile, at the same championships, the courageous Riley Gaines was left empty-handed as her hard-earned trophy was given to Thomas. It’s a disgrace!
Gaines has emerged as a powerful voice for women in athletics, speaking out against the outrageous invasion of biological men in women’s sports. She has fearlessly criticized the NCAA for failing to protect the integrity and fairness of women’s sports. And she’s absolutely right!
In the face of a world that constantly tries to blur the lines between men and women, Gaines has not wavered in her fight for equality and fairness in women’s sports. Her recognition from OutKick is a powerful statement that women’s accomplishments and voices truly matter. Bravo, Riley!
In a bold move, Gaines and several other collegiate athletes have taken legal action against the NCAA for their blatant disregard of Title IX, a federal civil rights law. It’s about time someone stepped up to challenge the NCAA’s negligence and defend the rights of female athletes.
