The Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington, D.C., had to be locked down after someone sent vials of blood to the building. A package with the blood inside broke open, causing concern. Police officers were on the scene, and a hazmat unit came to check things out.
The Capitol Police said the package with the blood has been dealt with, but the building is still on lockdown while they look into the situation. It’s a scary thing for everyone there, but it’s good to see law enforcement taking it seriously.
