In a refreshing turn of events, it appears that one of President Joe Biden’s most devoted Hollywood cheerleaders has finally had enough of the antics. Rob Reiner, the filmmaker known for his cringe-worthy political takes and unwavering support for anything with a blue ribbon on it, has taken to social media to tell Biden to hang up his hat and vacate the White House.
This revelation might be the best comedy Reiner has produced in years. After all, only three days ago, he was spewing his usual melodramatic warnings about how a Trump victory would spell the end of American freedom as we know it. According to Reiner, if the former President manages to win the 2024 election, it would be the last Independence Day Americans could celebrate their freedom. Talk about hitting the panic button.
Reiner’s latest performance credits Biden with serving with “honor, decency, and dignity” and claims that the real threat is Trump’s return to power. Apparently, a stumbling and bumbling Biden sticking around is less of a priority than preventing what Reiner melodramatically calls a loss of democracy. Maybe he swapped scripts overnight, because Reiner’s calling for Biden to step down is as about-face as one could get for someone who has been glued to the Democratic leader’s hip.

Unsurprisingly, Reiner isn’t the only one feeling the buyer’s remorse. Other liberal fat cats from the entertainment industry, like Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings and Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel, have also reached their limit with Biden’s fading performance. It seems the glam squad has traded their champagne toasts to Biden for whispers about his political expiration date.
Behind the scenes, Reiner was reportedly a wreck during the first 2024 presidential debate watch party, although he plastered on a brave face for social media the next day. Given how Biden’s performance was less inspiring and more reminiscent of a car wreck in slow motion, Reiner’s internal panic is understandable. But now, he’s leading the charge of Hollywood heavyweights jumping ship faster than you can say “box office flop.”
Even with the pressure from his Hollywood buddies and big-time donors flipping like pancakes, Joe Biden is channeling his inner deity, claiming that only God Himself could make him bow out of the race. Such divine intervention doesn’t seem forthcoming, so folks might want to brace themselves for more episodes of the Biden comedy hour.
