In a world where trust in the media is crumbling faster than a sandcastle in a hurricane, CBS News seems determined to dig its own grave. The liberal giant now finds itself in yet another scandal, this time involving contributor Peter Attia and his connections to the disgraced Jeffrey Epstein. Are we truly surprised? Hardly. This is what happens when you play footsie with those who spend their effete, high-brow lives preaching morality from their ivory towers, only to be exposed as hypocrites yet again.
The revelation that Attia’s name surfaced over 1,700 times in a trove of emails linked to Epstein is a scathing indictment of the mainstream media’s failure to vet their associates. CBS News, like its left-wing peers, seems to have no trouble broadcasting its self-righteousness while simultaneously brushing skeletons under the rug. How deep does the rot go? One has to wonder how many more of these so-called “contributors” have ties to shady dealings.

This is peak liberal hypocrisy. The same folks who push their globalist agenda and claim moral superiority have no qualms cozying up to dubious characters. Their collective silence and lack of accountability are as much a part of the problem as the association itself. These liberal networks seem to protect their own while lecturing the rest of us on how to live. It’s a classic case of do as I say, not as I do.
Let’s not overlook what’s at stake here. It’s supposedly about news, about delivering the truth to the American people. Yet, if outlets like CBS can’t even keep their house in order, how on earth can they be trusted to report on issues affecting the nation? Instead of serving the public, they’re in bed with the very figures they should be investigating. They harp on about transparency and accountability, but where is that for them?
The mainstream media will likely spin this as an isolated incident, a speed bump on their noble road to truth. But we know better. They are consistently complicit when it suits their narrative. Maybe CBS will part ways with Attia, but don’t expect any real change. Will they finally come clean, or continue their smoke-and-mirrors game? We all know the answer to that.
