When it comes to defending the leader of the free world, you’d think that every “i” would be dotted and every “t” crossed. But when it came to an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, the U.S. Secret Service turned into a circus of incompetence. This shocking incident, which unfolded in Butler, Pennsylvania, is a reminder of the chaos and disregard for American patriots that has plagued our institutions, especially under the current administration.

Ten days before the attempt, the Secret Service had intel about the threat on Trump’s life. But like some government bureaucracies, they let crucial information fall through the cracks. Information wasn’t passed on to the right people. It’s as if they were more interested in protecting their own cushy jobs than the man leading a movement restoring America’s greatness.
And where was the Biden administration during all this? Well, they were busy denying requests for more security to protect Trump. Instead, resources were being diverted to safeguard Kamala Harris’s media moments and Jill Biden’s lavish events. Once again, the priorities are clear: protect the elite, leave the people’s champion vulnerable.
The planning blunders that unfolded leading up to this tragic event illustrate liberal negligence at its finest. The rookie errors made by those in charge of Trump’s safety nearly cost his life. Let’s not forget the tragic loss of a brave soul, a retired firefighter, in the chaos. And what about those two Trump supporters critically injured that day? These lives matter too, but the bureaucracy says otherwise.
Instead of addressing real threats and ensuring safety, we see band-aid solutions and fingers pointed elsewhere. This incident was preventable with a little foresight, a little competency, and a whole lot of accountability. But is accountability something we can expect from the left-leaning figures pulling the strings? Or do these blunders merely expose a deeper indifference to American values and a disdain for those who dare challenge the status quo?
Where do we go from here? Will the wasteland of bureaucracy continue to sideline America’s future? One can only hope that shadows in Washington stop playing games with security and start focusing on serving the public they swore to protect. Because avoiding disaster shouldn’t be a game of luck.
