Facebook has decided to compete with Twitter, unless you've been living under a rock. The name of their new product is Threads, but I would advise you not to download it.
'Threads' Is Already Turning Into a Flaming Dumpster Fire You Should Avoid https://t.co/IbifqiZLS8

First of all, are you truly interested in wasting your time on this platform with a new look? If I desired to be tormented by delusional males posing as women, I could certainly do so on Twitter. At least there, I will not risk exclusion for stating simple biological facts. Why would I want to give Facebook more of my personal information if the experience is going to get worse?
As a woman, it’s pretty creepy when a man is obsessed with you and harasses you on social media. pic.twitter.com/pKelmEwDKM

It is abundantly apparent what Threads will be: another left-wing echo chamber protected by Mark Zuckerberg and his notion of what is "nice." Translation: Threads will censor anyone who dares to speak the truth about gender ideology while supporting mentally unwell activists. I regret to say that I will decline that offer.
And let's not overlook Facebook's questionable past. They eradicated their news algorithms some time ago, making it practically impossible for sites with a right-leaning viewpoint to receive organic traffic. On top of that, they implemented a system of so-called fact-checkers, which turned out to be nothing more than partisan outlets such as Politifact. In the name of combating "misinformation" about COVID-19 and climate change, these fact-checkers censored information that proved out to be accurate. Can you truly entrust your valuable time to a business with such a track record?
As a conservative commentator, I am aware that the norm would be to join every new platform (from Parler to Truth Social) that emerges. But honestly, I have no interest in doing so. Not that essential to me is having a large online following. Through my articles on RedState, I have no problem with my ideas being shared. The sole purpose of social media platforms for me is to engage in pointless debates with strangers. I will therefore decline Threads.
Nevertheless, I must confess that Threads has provided some amusement, despite the fact that I have no plans to join. Apparently, delusional trans activists are already complaining that Threads is "unsafe for trans people" because it does not immediately prohibit anyone who uses the word "groomer."
To conclude, my advice regarding Threads is straightforward: let it blaze. There are plenty of left-leaning individuals in the world, so it may acquire momentum, but I don't see it contributing anything of value to the social media realm. The best course of action is to turn off your electronic devices and go for a walk. It will be considerably more beneficial.
