Zohran Mamdani has won the Democratic primary for New York City mayor. This socialist politician wants to change the city in radical ways. He plans to raise taxes and expand government control.
Mamdani was born in Uganda and came to New York as a child. He belongs to a far-left group called the Democratic Socialists of America. Famous progressives like Bernie Sanders support him.
His plans include free city buses and rent freezes. He wants government-run grocery stores too. All this would cost ten billion dollars in new taxes on businesses and the rich.
These ideas would hurt hardworking New Yorkers. Higher taxes on businesses mean lost jobs. Government stores would put private shops out of business.
Mamdani has also criticized Israel. This shows poor judgment on foreign policy. America’s closest ally deserves our strong support.
Greg Kelly says Mamdani is “worthless” and “unfit” to lead New York. He calls the socialist’s ideas dangerous. Kelly is right to warn about this radical agenda.
New Yorkers must reject this socialist experiment. Mamdani’s plans would wreck our great city. Patriots know big government always fails.
Voters should remember that freedom built America. We need leaders who protect our values, not socialists. Mamdani’s vision would take New York backward.
