Thanks to a bold new law, students, staff, and visitors with the proper permits can now carry concealed weapons on public college campuses and technical schools. This isn’t some reckless liberal stunt—this is a responsible expansion of Second Amendment rights backed by proof, not paranoia.
For years, left-wing agitators screamed that allowing guns on campuses would turn schools into war zones. They warned of bloodshed and chaos if armed citizens were given a chance to protect themselves. Spoiler alert: the same nonsense was shouted when South Dakota adopted constitutional carry six years ago. Guess what? None of those fearmongering predictions came true. Law enforcement officials saw no spike in violence, just ordinary folks exercising their constitutional rights. Now, with campus carry in place, the state is doubling down on common sense and rejecting the left’s fantasy world where only bad guys pack heat.
Not only does the new law allow guns, it also opens the door to other self-defense tools like mace and pepper spray. The political theater around gun control is always dressed up as a safety measure, but it’s really about control—control over YOU. The globalist elites want compliant citizens who won’t stand up for their rights. They thrive on waving shiny distractions while America’s freedoms are stripped away piece by piece. It’s time other states followed South Dakota’s lead and stopped bowing to the hysterics of the anti-gun mob. If students and teachers want to protect themselves, they shouldn’t need armed guards or expensive security theater—they should have the right to carry discreetly and responsibly. We’ve seen the lies that gun control peddlers tell, and it’s obvious: safety comes from the people, not from government mandates or bans. So here’s a challenge to the left—if you really care about safety, prove it by getting out of the way and letting Americans defend themselves. Otherwise, be ready to watch as more states embrace freedom and truth, leaving your failed panic campaigns in the dust.
