A recent survey from Harvard-Harris has revealed that President Donald Trump’s policies are not just popular among his base; they enjoy overwhelming majority support across the political spectrum. Who would have guessed? In a world dominated by loud leftist rhetoric and virtue signaling, the common sense of the American public shines through like a beacon of conservatism in a foggy liberal sea.
One standout statistic from the survey is the staggering support for the policy of deporting illegal immigrants who have committed crimes. A whopping 81 percent of respondents voiced their approval for this no-nonsense approach. It’s interesting to note that this isn’t just a conservative pipe dream—92 percent of Republicans, 74 percent of independents, and even 62 percent of Democrats are in favor of doing the right thing by removing criminals from American streets. This hardly sounds like the divisive agenda they accuse Trump of peddling.
A significant chunk of the survey also highlighted a desire to root out government waste and fraud. Nearly three-quarters of Americans—76 percent to be precise—agreed on the necessity of a major overhaul in how taxpayer dollars are spent. Ninety percent of Republicans, 74 percent of independents, and again a noteworthy 62 percent of Democrats are all on the same page here. One can only wonder how many “backroom deals” these politicians are trying to sweep under the rug while the average citizen just wants fiscal responsibility.
Border security, another Trump staple, strikes a chord with 76 percent of the surveyed population, further showcasing that Americans aren’t afraid to prioritize national security and opposing illegal immigration. The support stretches across party lines, demonstrating that the only thing more prevalent than illegal crossings at the border is the shared desire of the American people for stronger enforcement.
When it comes to the hot-topic issues of sex and gender, support for banning biological males from competing in women’s sports follows the trend of common sense prevailing. Sixty-nine percent of respondents back this notion, while a significant 68 percent want a clear declaration that only two genders exist. Interestingly, while half of Democrats seem to struggle with basic biological facts, most independents and Republicans appear to be living in reality where biological males and females are distinct—thankfully, sanity still reigns among the majority.

Other Trump policies also received notable backing, including a ban on racial preferences in hiring—a conservative stronghold with 65 percent support. Meanwhile, tariffs against countries that impose tariffs on American goods are favored by 61 percent, proving that America First isn’t just a slogan; it’s a commitment embraced even outside the Republican Party. While some may fixate on the idea of renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, that idea fell flat, with only 39 percent in support. But even here, a notable 63 percent of Republicans endorse the idea—perhaps just to get under the skin of those who dismiss it outright.
In short, the Harvard-Harris survey indicates that Trump’s policies not only resonate with a majority of Americans but also cross party lines, challenging the prevalent narrative pushed by the left. In a political climate often marred by division, the survey illustrates a clear and pressing need for leaders who will listen to the American people rather than adhere to a progressive agenda. The takeaway is clear: even in the post-Trump era, a strong undercurrent of support remains for many of his cornerstone policies, signaling a potential renaissance of conservative common sense in American governance.
