If the Democrats believed they could count on the approval ratings to stay in their favor, they have another thing coming. Recent polling and focus group findings reveal that the American electorate, including former Biden voters, seems to be rallying around former President Donald Trump, and it’s causing quite a stir among those on the left.
Reports indicate that a focus group of swing voters in Arizona, many of whom previously supported Biden, are now enthusiastically backing Trump in 2024. These voters are evidently thrilled with Trump’s approach and actions, which have gotten them on board with his vision for America. One participant expressed support for Trump’s urgency in “getting America back on track,” clearly indicating that they perceive a significant gap between action and inaction under the Biden administration.
CNN interviewed eleven Arizonans who voted for Biden in 2020 and Trump in 2024.
All eleven said they support the job President Trump has done in his first month in office.

In a segment that must have felt like a root canal for CNN’s Dana Bash, these swing voters articulated their approval of Trump’s policies. They praised his handling of border issues and his commitment to protecting women’s sports, highlighting a stark contrast to the Democratic narrative. The sentiments shared by this focus group demonstrate a dissatisfaction with the previous administration’s approach, emphasizing the desire for actionable change rather than mere rhetoric.
Polling expert Frank Luntz shared insights after speaking to individuals who once voted for Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden but have now shifted their allegiance to Trump. Their feedback aligns with the notion that they are fed up with inaction. Voters are looking for results on pressing issues like immigration, affordability, and wasteful spending, and they feel that the current administration has left them wanting. This frustration among disillusioned Democrats could spell trouble for party leadership that seems unwilling or unable to listen to the needs of their constituents.
As if the Arizona focus group weren’t enough to highlight the Democrats’ woes, there’s fresh data from the Napolitan News Service and RMG Research showing Trump’s net approval rating has climbed significantly. In just over a week, he surged four points to achieve a net approval of 12 points over disapproval. This rise suggests that the American public is not only approving of Trump’s recent actions but is also increasingly dissatisfied with the status quo maintained by the Democrats, who seem to be stuck in a cycle of resistance rather than constructive governance.
The stark difference in approval ratings between Trump and the Democrats indicates a fundamental misunderstanding among the left about what voters truly crave. Instead of echoing cries of “resistance,” grassroots voices are calling for action and accountability, demonstrating that Trump’s willingness to uphold his promises is resonating far more than the Dems’ deflections and drama. It’s become clear that while Democrats are busy trying to stifle dissent with flashy slogans, American voters are keenly interested in real change.
