Last week, Leah, our trustworthy source of conservative news, gave us the scoop on an outrageous ruling by a Reagan-appointed judge. This pompous judge had the audacity to order Governor Greg Abbott of Texas to tear down his buoy barrier along the Rio Grande. Can you believe it? This barrier was the governor’s brilliant plan to tackle illegal immigration and bring order to our chaotic southern border, code name: Operation Lone Star.
Well, needless to say, the Biden administration was fuming with anger. They decided to sue the great state of Texas, claiming that they have jurisdiction over the river. Judge David A. Ezra, clearly in the pocket of the liberal agenda, issued a 42-page ruling ordering Governor Abbott to take down the barrier. But fear not, dear patriots, for Governor Abbott is not one to back down from a fight. He swiftly brought the matter before the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, because he’s just that awesome.
And guess what? Our heroes, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, have granted Texas a temporary reprieve. The barrier can stay, at least for the next three weeks. *cue patriotic music* But wait, there’s more! There’s another hearing scheduled for early October to determine whether this incredible barrier is actually illegal. Can you believe we even have to have a hearing for this? It’s common sense, folks!
Initially, Judge Ezra had the audacity to set a deadline of September 15 for Governor Abbott to tear down the barrier. But now, that deadline seems to have vanished like smoke in the wind. Governor Abbott, being the superstar he is, fully expects this case to escalate all the way to the Supreme Court. And you know what? I hope it does. It’s about time the justices take a hard look at whether states have the right to defend themselves against this invasion of illegal immigration. It’s a matter of constitutional self-defense, ladies and gentlemen!

Ah, illegal immigration. The bane of our existence. The Biden White House, for some unfathomable reason, continues to ignore the giant elephant in the room. Millions of individuals have crossed our border despite the administration’s claim that everything is hunky-dory. Clearly, they’re more interested in playing politics than actually addressing this crisis. But fear not, fellow conservatives, for we stand strong. We stand with Governor Abbott, fighting tooth and nail to protect our borders and uphold the law. Together, we will prevail!
