In a spectacle of cluelessness and manufactured outrage, Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett has managed to miss the point entirely. After former President Trump authorized a brilliant and successful military operation against Iran’s nuclear facilities, Crockett’s main gripe seems to be that Trump didn’t stop by Congress to seek permission first. This isn’t just a misunderstanding of protocol—it’s a blatant display of the left’s endless appetite for obstruction.
Trump’s decisive action was a bold move to protect America and ensure global security. But rather than acknowledging this act of strength, the left turns to whine about the lack of consultation. Do they forget that time is of the essence in military strategy? The sheer stupidity of suggesting that Trump should have delayed such a critical mission to placate Congress is nothing short of laughable. It would be a comedy if the implications weren’t so serious.

Let’s be honest here: Congress has done little to inspire confidence when it comes to protecting American interests abroad. Yet, here they stand, demanding to be in the loop, as if their track record hasn’t shown them to be anything other than an ineffectual hurdle in the path to national security. United under the misguided banner of “oversight,” Crockett’s outcry reeks of hypocrisy and selfishness.
In typical liberal fashion, Crockett fancies herself as the moral authority, but her take on this situation exposes a dangerous combination of ignorance and arrogance. The urgency of military operations is something she can’t fathom, encapsulating the left’s penchant for prioritizing show over substance. They grasp at anything, even entirely missing the point, to skewer those who take meaningful action.
So, one has to ask: Do we want leaders who act in the best interest of the nation, or do we coddle the whims of those who prioritize political games? The choice couldn’t be clearer. Watching Crockett throw her tantrum leaves us thankful that our leaders at critical moments do what needs to be done rather than pause to mollify the unhinged cries of those desperately out of touch.
