Former President Donald Trump isn’t holding back when it comes to the alleged Democratic antics that have circulated around President Joe Biden. In a recent appearance on “Fox & Friends,” Trump threw the “coup” card on the table, suggesting that the Democrats have been up to some sneaky business trying to push Biden out of the Oval Office. His observations lead to the conclusion that a President Kamala Harris would be an even bigger disaster than the current administration.
During his segment, Trump highlighted the discrepancy between the Democrats’ public praise of Biden and their behind-the-scenes shenanigans. The former president pointed out that former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and former President Barack Obama have been looking cozy on TV, exuding warmth and admiration for the president while likely plotting behind closed doors. It’s a classic case of political double-speak that would make any savvy observer raise an eyebrow.
Unlike a number of other Republicans urging for Biden to exit, Trump took a slightly different route. He believes Biden should stick around, primarily because the alternative could lead to Harris taking the reins. Labeling her a radical liberal, Trump made it clear that her stance on crime and illegal immigration could set the least loathsome scenarios back to the days of chaos. For Trump, that’s a no-brainer; he’d rather see Biden stumble than pass the baton to a vice president with far-left agendas.
While some pundits speculate whether Trump has cold feet about selecting Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio as his running mate, Trump defended his choice by saying Vance is doing a “fantastic” job. The former president isn’t worried about Harris and the potential changes she could bring and even went as far as saying that regardless of her being next in line, it wouldn’t have swayed Vance’s performance.

In an interesting twist, Trump also took time to address recent pro-Palestinian protests that erupted during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to Congress. Trump proposed a one-year jail sentence for anyone caught desecrating the American flag, inferring that chatter around constitutional rights for protestors was moot. In his opinion, those claiming it’s unconstitutional are merely “stupid people” who miss the bigger picture of patriotism and respect.
All in all, the former president’s remarks paint a picture of Democrats in total disarray while also showing a steadfast loyalty to his choice of running mate. With all the political drama unfolding, one thing’s for certain: the Trump show isn’t going away anytime soon.
