Meanwhile, the usual cocktail of daytime TV hosts lost their minds, lecturing the country about “fat-shaming” while defending policies that have hollowed out readiness. Those hosts have never pulled a double shift in a barracks, carried a wounded comrade, or worried that a bloated chain of command could mean the difference between life and death on the battlefield.
Let’s be blunt: calling out physical unfitness is not a moral failing, it’s leadership. The Pentagon’s move to use gender-neutral, higher standards where required and to review changes made to accommodate quotas since 2015 is about saving lives, not scoring woke points, and that tough-minded return to mission focus should be applauded, not mocked.
