The Trump campaign proudly announced a whopping $331 million raised in the second quarter, dwarfing Biden’s $264 million for the same period. With an additional $111.8 million pouring in just in June, Trump’s team is sitting pretty with $284.9 million in cash on hand, a stark comparison to Biden’s $240 million. The Democrats seem to be burning through cash faster than a teenager with a new credit card, all while losing ground in national and battleground polls.

Interestingly, donations to Trump surged following the verdict in a New York case that was supposed to be the nail in the coffin for his campaign. Instead, Trump’s popularity soared, with donors opening their wallets to the tune of $141 million. This sudden surge in funds erased Biden’s lead overnight, leaving him in the dust financially.
Meanwhile, Biden’s woes continue to mount, with his lackluster debate performance sparking internal conflicts within the party. Top donors are reportedly considering asking for refunds, pondering the idea of replacing Biden with Kamala Harris. However, even that alternative doesn’t seem to sit well with everyone, as doubts about Harris’ viability linger among the donor base.
As the Democrats grapple with internal strife and financial woes, Trump is steadily marching ahead in the race for the White House. While it’s wise not to underestimate the twists and turns of politics, the Democrats are facing an uphill battle with no clear path to victory in sight. Unless a miracle turnaround occurs or the Republicans stumble in a major way, Trump seems to have the upper hand in this high-stakes showdown.
