For far too long, America has been the world’s ATM. While hardworking American families struggle to afford their prescriptions, fat-cat bureaucrats in Europe and Japan have laughed all the way to the bank. These rich nations have gladly let U.S. taxpayers and patients shell out big bucks for new, life-saving medicines—while they get sweet discounts and freebies. It’s global freeloading at its finest, and every liberal politician in Washington seems perfectly okay with it.
Who is finally standing up and calling it out? President Trump. Unlike the tired, spineless globalists on the Left, Trump refuses to let American innovation get ripped off. Instead of bowing down to foreign demands and empty promises, he’s forcing these elites to get their wallets out and start paying their way. The days of subsidizing foreign healthcare on the backs of Americans might finally be coming to an end.

The hypocrisy of liberal leaders is glaring. They claim to care about the little guy, but for decades, they’ve let our medicine bills shoot through the roof so Europeans and Japanese citizens can enjoy cheaper drugs. Meanwhile, American innovators create top-notch treatments and cures, and who gets stuck with the bill? Us. Not one progressive seems bothered by the fact that foreign bureaucrats treat our system like a bottomless piggy bank.
Of course, the globalist crowd screams and whines whenever the U.S. demands fairness. They wag their fingers about “international cooperation,” but ignore the uneven playing field. Their true loyalty is not to America’s working families, but to some imaginary “world community” that never seems to give back as much as it takes.
President Trump’s push is simple common sense: wealthy allies who enjoy the benefits of American breakthroughs should pay their fair share. Why should Americans be the only ones paying full price, while others enjoy bargains? Liberals might be content with America getting taken for a ride, but real conservatives know better. Isn’t it about time someone remembered whose side they’re supposed to be on?
