It finally happened. President Trump has shown, once again, that he means business when it comes to cleaning house. Kristi Noem is out as Secretary of Homeland Security. Liberals and the media will try to spin it into some kind of chaos, but real Americans know better: loyalty matters, and you don’t make the President look like a fool on the world stage—especially not in front of the swamp creatures in Congress.
Let’s lay it out. For months, rumors swirled about Noem’s future, but things boiled over after her disastrous Senate hearing. She couldn’t help but run her mouth, making it sound like Trump rubber-stamped a wasteful $220 million ad campaign starring—who else—herself. Even Senate Republicans could hardly believe it. Noem’s publicity stunts have always been a little too slick, and now she made her boss look bad under oath. That’s all it took. The only thing worse than wasting taxpayer money is throwing your own president under the bus to save your skin.

The left may laugh, but they’re the kings of stabbing their own in the back, and the media hands out medals for it. If Trump had let this slide, the liberal media would have used Noem’s words to pound America First leadership in the headlines for weeks. Instead, Trump acted. That’s real leadership—something Beltway bureaucrats and CNN have never understood.
And let’s not ignore the whispers about Noem’s cozy ties with Corey Lewandowski or her bungled comments about the Minneapolis shooting. The liberal press shrugs and wags fingers at the right about “double standards,” but when it comes to their own, they circle the wagons. Remember when Kamala Harris laughed about border chaos, or Pelosi spent months on sanctimonious sermons about “accountability,” while their own teams fumble and lie? Hypocrites, one and all.
Now, Sen. Markwayne Mullin is the name to watch—a fighter who understands what this country needs. Expect howls from the usual suspects in the Senate, but that’s a good sign. The left only screams when the right is doing something right. At least with Trump in charge, the American people know betrayal is never rewarded. The Democrats could take a lesson in loyalty, but don’t hold your breath. Why did it take so long to drain the swamp? Because too many politicians put themselves—never Americans—at the front of the line.
