The rally is strategically located near the district of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, as part of Trump’s plan to turn New York State from blue to red in the upcoming election. The campaign has secured a permit for 3,500 attendees, showing their commitment to making a difference in the area.
Trump’s trial in New York, related to hush money payments, will pause until next week. The defense wrapped up their case quickly without Trump testifying. The prosecution, which brought forward multiple witnesses including Trump’s ex-lawyer Michael Cohen, aims to prove Trump falsified business records. Trump faces 34 felony charges but denies them as he looks ahead to a possible 2024 GOP nomination.
