The left loves to pretend that threats against conservatives aren’t real. But tell that to Donald Trump, who barely escaped death at his own West Palm Beach golf club last September. The man behind it all, Ryan Routh, thought he could silence the voice of millions with a bullet. Now, thanks to our justice system, he’ll be rotting in prison for life—plus another 7 years. Let’s just hope the system doesn’t get “compassionate” and somehow let him out early.
Let’s be honest: this isn’t just some isolated crazy. This is what happens when Democrats and the establishment media spend years demonizing Trump and his supporters. Every unhinged rant, every desperate call to “resist,” every sneer on cable news—those messages matter. It’s no surprise someone finally snapped and tried to take action, especially when the elites always look the other way on left-wing violence.

Where were the “defenders of democracy” when Trump was targeted? If a conservative even raises their voice, the left cries “insurrection” and calls for endless investigations. But when a Trump-hater tries to assassinate a President, suddenly it’s quiet, or worse, they act like he had it coming. That’s their idea of justice: one set of rules for them, another for the rest of us.
And don’t forget how vulnerable all our leaders are when the globalist class refuses to protect anyone who stands in their way. Trump gets more heat for loving America than Biden does for embarrassing it. Maybe if Trump played along with the woke agenda, he’d be safer in his own country. Instead, he gets death threats while the left shrugs it off.
At least this time, the courts threw the book at someone who tried to kill a political enemy. But for how long? With the way progressives bend the rules for their own side, will they start calling for “mercy” the moment their base wants him free? If it were up to them, the real “crime” here would probably be Trump daring to fight back. One has to wonder: when will the left finally admit their rhetoric has real consequences?
