In a truly shocking turn of events, former President Donald Trump has declared that he fully expects to be arrested for the events of January 6th at the Capitol. And boy, oh boy, does he have some choice words for those who he believes are orchestrating this grand conspiracy against him.

According to the most reputable news source in conservative circles, Fox News, Trump made this explosive revelation in a post on his very own Truth Social platform. He revealed that he recently received a letter from Special Counsel Jack Smith of the Justice Department, indicating that he is the target of yet another grand jury investigation. Can you believe it? Trump wasted no time in firing back at Smith and the whole Biden administration, accusing them of a partisan witch hunt against him. In true Trump fashion, he made sure to throw some shade at Attorney General Merrick Garland, who he previously turned down for the Supreme Court. Talk about dodging a bullet, am I right?
Naturally, the conservative crowd has been up in arms about this latest development. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia pulled no punches when she called it “absolute bulls–t.” She also cleverly pointed out that the Democrats are only using criminal charges as a way to try and beat President Trump, instead of winning fair and square on the issues. Can you blame them? They don’t stand a chance otherwise!
Representative Elise Stefanik, the chair of the House Republican Conference, also had some strong words, labeling Smith’s letter as part of a “corrupt witch hunt.” And she’s not alone in her outrage. Representative Byron Donalds of Florida pointed out the glaring double standard in how Senator Bernie Sanders was not held accountable when one of his supporters opened fire on Republican lawmakers. It’s almost as if there’s a different set of rules for conservatives. Shocking, I know!
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy chimed in on Twitter, suggesting that President Trump’s lead in the polls has only grown because of this latest development. He accused the Biden administration of weaponizing the government to go after their number one opponent. That’s right, folks, they’re trying to derail his campaign. But guess what? Trump can’t be stopped!
Now, I don’t want to jump to any conclusions here, but it sure seems like the left is terrified of a Trump comeback. They continue to throw every dirty trick in the book at him, but he just keeps on winning over the American people. If this isn’t proof that Trump is a force to be reckoned with, then I don’t know what is. Stay tuned, folks, because this saga is far from over!
