Faced with a partial government shutdown over the Department of Homeland Security budget, Trump is willing to back a Republican deal—even if it means not getting the full funding for ICE removals right now. That’s called putting America first, even when the swamp throws up every obstacle it can.
Democrats and their globalist friends love to paint Trump as stubborn. They claim he’s “unwilling to compromise.” But when push comes to shove, it’s the liberal elites who refuse to listen to ordinary Americans. The left is more interested in open borders than in keeping our country safe. They’d rather keep Americans in limbo than hand Trump even a small win on law enforcement.

Every time they block funding for ICE or DHS, they make it crystal clear their priorities lie with illegal aliens—not with hardworking Americans who just want safer streets and secure borders.
Trump’s willingness to work around Democrat obstruction shows exactly why the radical left fears him. He’s a deal maker. He’s not afraid to compromise to get something done for America. The question is—how many more times will the Democrats choose politics over patriotism before voters send them packing for good?
