Trump Slams De Niro for Courthouse Campaigning for Biden

Former President Donald Trump criticized actor Robert De Niro for appearing at the Manhattan courthouse where his legal trial is happening to campaign for President Biden. Mr. Trump took to Truth Social to express his disapproval of De Niro’s presence, describing him as small both in mind and body and stating that his movies and brand have diminished in value since he became politically involved at the request of Joe Biden.

The Biden campaign enlisted De Niro, as well as two police officers from the January 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol, to hold a press conference outside the New York courtroom. The purpose was to raise concerns about the potential threat a second Trump presidency could pose to democracy in the United States. During the press conference, De Niro referred to Mr. Trump as a “tyrant” and a “clown” and warned that he would become even more unhinged if re-elected.

Additionally, De Niro appears in a new advertisement for President Biden, warning that a second term for Mr. Trump would lead to further instability in the White House. Capitol Police officers are also involved in efforts to remind voters in Nevada about Mr. Trump’s role in the January 6 attack on the Capitol.

This news emphasizes the ongoing political division in the United States and the involvement of prominent figures in the presidential campaigns, reflecting the intense sentiments surrounding the upcoming election.
