President Trump showed real leadership this week when he called out Illinois Governor JB Pritzker for what he really is: a failed politician who won’t protect his own people. During a White House cabinet meeting, Trump didn’t mince words, calling Pritzker a “slob of a governor” who refuses to get tough on the criminals terrorizing Chicago streets. While Trump works to make America safe again, weak Democrats like Pritzker would rather play politics than save lives.
Instead of thanking the President for offering help, Pritzker had the nerve to tell Trump to stay away from Chicago. The governor actually said Trump is “neither wanted nor needed” in his crime-ridden state. This is the same liberal who has watched Chicago become a killing field while he sits in his mansion doing nothing. What kind of leader turns down help when people are dying every day?
Don’t believe the lies about crime going down in Chicago. Real Americans living there know the truth. Families are still afraid to walk their own streets at night. Small businesses are still getting robbed and vandalized by thugs who know they won’t face real consequences under soft-on-crime Democrats.
Trump knows Pritzker personally and isn’t afraid to tell the truth about him. The President revealed that Pritzker’s own family threw him out of their business because he was such a failure. Now this same incompetent man is running Illinois into the ground. It’s no wonder the state keeps losing population as hardworking families flee to red states.
Liberal Democrats always scream about federal overreach when Republicans want to fight crime and protect innocent people. But these same hypocrites have no problem begging Washington for taxpayer money to fund their wasteful programs. They claim Trump deploying the National Guard is somehow like a dictatorship, which is complete nonsense.
Sometimes federal action is exactly what’s needed when local leaders refuse to do their jobs. President Eisenhower sent troops to protect civil rights in the South. President Bush sent federal agents to help after Hurricane Katrina. When lives are at stake and local officials fail, real leaders step up.
The truth is Democrats don’t want Trump to succeed in fighting crime because it would prove their soft policies are a disaster. They would rather let criminals run wild than admit conservative law and order works. Pritzker and his liberal friends care more about protecting their political image than protecting regular Americans who just want to be safe.
President Trump is fighting for every American family that deserves to live without fear of violent crime. He won’t back down to failed governors like Pritzker who have turned once-great cities into war zones. When Trump sends in federal help to restore order, real patriots will thank him for having the courage to do what weak Democrats won’t.
