Once again, President Trump shows what real leadership looks like. While the rest of the world sits on its hands, he’s calling out Australia and demanding they do the right thing: protect the Iranian women’s football team from being sent back to a brutal regime in Tehran. These women stood up to the tyrants who have held their country hostage for decades. Their only “crime” was refusing to bow down and sing the anthem of an oppressive Islamic government—a government that responds to peaceful protest with bullets and prison cells.
What are our so-called allies doing? The Australian government is acting like handing these brave athletes over to certain punishment—or worse—is no big deal. The same liberals who shout endlessly about “women’s rights” suddenly go silent when women are being crushed under the Iranian ayatollahs. Isn’t it funny how the left rushes to parade around in Handmaid’s Tale costumes at anti-Republican rallies, but can’t say a word when real women are in real danger at the hands of Islamists? They’ll bend over backwards to appease radical regimes, but have zero backbone when actual justice is on the line.

And let’s not hear any nonsense about waves of refugees or “overwhelming the system.” We’re talking about, at most, a few dozen athletes who put everything on the line by standing up to their government. Joe Biden took in two hundred thousand Afghans after surrendering Afghanistan to the Taliban—now they want to freak out over twenty or so courageous women? This isn’t a case of open borders. It’s about standing with freedom over tyranny.
There’s one leader in the free world willing to call this what it is: a humanitarian disaster made by cowardly left-wing governments. If Australia won’t do the right thing, Trump is ready to give these women sanctuary—no lectures, no international committees, just action. Contrast that with the pathetic performance from the Biden administration, which claims to care about human rights but can’t even stand up for the most basic one: the right not to be murdered for wanting to be free.
This isn’t hard. Protect the women. Stand against the butchers in Tehran. But the globalists and Democrats would rather betray the brave than upset their “diplomatic” buddies. Where are the left’s feminist warriors now? Seems they only show up when it’s time to bash conservatives. Maybe the next time liberals want to talk about women’s rights, someone should remind them what actual courage—and actual oppression—looks like.
