Finally, we have a leader who understands that the safety of American citizens comes first, and who refuses to allow rogue jurisdictions to welcome illegal immigrants with open arms. It’s about time that these so-called sanctuary cities face the consequences of defying federal immigration laws. They want to play fast and loose with our laws? Fine, but not on the taxpayer’s dime.
Sanctuary cities have been a thorn in the side of law-abiding Americans for too long. These cities think they are above the law, harboring illegal immigrants at the expense of their own citizens. It’s almost laughable how these liberal bastions claim to care about public safety while simultaneously allowing potential criminals to slip through the cracks. President Trump’s bold move to cut off their federal funding is his way of saying enough is enough. This administration isn’t going to finance chaos and lawlessness any longer.

Those who cry foul over the loss of funds should perhaps reevaluate their priorities. They might claim compassion and humanitarianism, but they turn a blind eye to the victims of crime perpetrated by those they shelter.
Do we truly want to hand over the reins to those who would see the integrity of our borders and the safety of our streets compromised?
