In this unprecedented move, the sitting president shows true leadership—something that’s been sorely missing in the capital.
The numbers don’t lie. Within days of Trump’s intervention, violent crime plummeted. A 35 percent decrease in some areas and an astonishing 83 percent reduction in carjackings demonstrate the impact of a hands-on approach. This is what political willpower can achieve when paired with action-driven policy. Yet, liberals sit idly by, offering only criticism without solutions. Meanwhile, Trump and his team are eating burgers with the troops, and it’s not for a photo-op—it’s backing our law enforcement, which has been continually disrespected and underfunded by those on the left.

With a nod to history, Trump channels the spirit of figures like Teddy Roosevelt, who cared about walking the beat and understanding the challenges firsthand. The president’s critics are quick to call it a “test case,” but one might argue it’s a masterclass on how to restore law and order in the face of liberal chaos.
The hypocrisy is glaring. The liberals chant “Free D.C.” while turning a blind eye to the safety of residents and tourists. Their misguided beliefs are costing lives. First, they clamor for safety, then they balk when real steps are taken. Trump’s actions send a clear, bold message: enough is enough. You’ve got to wonder, do they want safer streets, or are they just afraid of admitting that conservative policies could work?
