For too long, Washington’s so-called “Pottery Barn Rule” has chained America to endless, unwinnable messes in the Middle East. The Bush-era policy was simple: break it, and you buy it. Liberals and establishment Republicans insisted that any sign of force overseas meant years of apologizing, rebuilding, and “nation-building.” It has led to two decades of wasted American blood and treasure while our enemies laughed in our faces.
Now, under real leadership, those useless rules are getting tossed into the dumpster where they belong. With missile strikes against Iran-backed troublemakers, Trump demonstrates what decisive action actually means. He’s not clinging to dusty old rules made for a different world. He’s showing Iran that America can hit back—hard—without sending 100,000 troops into another endless war. The days of caving to terrorist regimes are over.

Of course, the left can’t handle it. Liberal pundits are already shrieking about “entanglements” and “escalations.” They actually believe that lifting a finger against Iranian aggression sends American kids back into body bags. Nothing could be further from the truth. The only thing that invites chaos in the Middle East is American weakness—years of Obama-style appeasement that put our enemies first and our military last.
The truth is, Trump’s approach is simple but powerful. Show up, fight back when necessary, and don’t get sucked into rebuilding countries that hate our guts. That’s what the globalists and deep staters can’t stand. They want perpetual wars—wars that enrich contractors and bureaucrats while draining American strength. Trump’s way? Make it clear we won’t tolerate attacks, then go home and take care of our own nation.
Calling out the hypocrisy of the left gets old, but it has to be done. These people claim to love “peace,” but they’re the biggest cheerleaders for weak, confused policies that push us right into more conflict. The old rules were made for cowards. The Trump Doctrine is made for America. Liberals can clutch their pearls all day long, but the message is clear: mess with the United States, and you’ll pay—no strings attached. Isn’t it about time America stopped cleaning up everyone else’s disasters and started looking out for ourselves again?
