Donald Trump is back at it, shaking up the status quo and pushing back against the endless red tape liberals love so much. The former president has a draft executive order aimed at curbing state regulation of artificial intelligence. Why? Because he knows freedom and innovation are part of what makes America great.
The left is all about controlling everything. They think more rules will magically solve all our problems. But this order shows Trump’s understanding that too much government stifles progress. Why let the states chip in layer upon layer of bureaucracy when AI is just getting started? The leftist elites want to strangle these new technologies before they even have a chance to thrive. Trump gets it—leave AI development in the hands of entrepreneurs, not power-hungry politicians.

Those liberals in Congress endlessly chatter about AI regulation while sipping lattes and dreaming up ways to grow Big Government. They claim to be all about innovation and tech jobs, but then they try to tie the hands of American businesses. Trump’s draft proposal is a reminder that our country thrives on free markets. Let’s not be like those EU bureaucrats who prefer to bury companies in regulation.
Far too often, states let anti-progress activists run the show. They’re terrified of AI, probably because it threatens their outdated way of doing things. But AI has potential we can’t yet imagine. Trump knows that if states are left unchecked, they’ll suffocate this golden opportunity with fear-driven policies.
