When it comes to standing up for our farmers, Trump is putting his money where his mouth is with a bold $12 billion aid package. This comes as a strong response to the trade tensions with China, a country that’s been having a free pass on trade for far too long.
American farmers have been dealt a tough hand. They’ve faced rising costs and difficulties selling their crops all because of unfair practices by China. Yet, the mainstream liberal media would rather focus on the price of soybeans than talk about the gross imbalances in our trade system. Trump is not backing down. He’s fighting for fair trade, and that means taking tough actions that no president has dared before.

Left-wing critics complain and whine at every turn. They say Trump’s trade war is reckless, but what have they done? They’ve cozied up to globalist interests, sacrificed American jobs, and forgotten the backbone of this country—the farmers who feed America. Trump recognizes that to make America great again, we need strong support for our agricultural heroes.
China has manipulated its currency and stolen American intellectual property for too long. They played dirty, and Trump is simply leveling the playing field. By taking decisive action, Trump is making it clear that America will no longer be taken advantage of by foreign powers. Instead of criticizing, maybe the left should learn a lesson in what real leadership looks like.
Are we going to stand by and let liberal elites continue to undermine our economy and way of life? Or are we going to stand with a president who keeps his promises and fights for every American? With Trump at the helm, the answer seems painfully clear.
