President Trump is preparing to take decisive action against mail-in voting, and the left is predictably losing its mind. They’re perpetually outraged, sitting comfortably in their bubble of victimhood. But let’s face it, mail-in ballots have always been shady. They’ve been a tool for voter manipulation, especially in liberal strongholds where election integrity seems like a foreign concept. President Trump’s proposal to eliminate mail-in voting through an executive order has liberal states clutching their pearls, crying out against this supposed assault on democracy. Yet, who are the real threats to democratic processes?
Take Colorado’s Secretary of State, Jena Griswold, for example. She’s been a vocal critic of Trump’s efforts, vowing to stop him at every corner. This is somehow the defender of free and fair elections? The irony is palpable. She’s the one who’s made moves to remove Trump from Colorado’s ballot, all while crowing about democracy. As if bypassing the will of the voters is some noble stand for fairness. The hypocrisy is astonishing. Griswold cries foul that Trump wants to curb voter fraud, but doesn’t seem too concerned about ballots being sent to pets or multiple ones being delivered to single individuals.

The left trots out the tired accusations of insurrection and threats to democracy, especially when it comes to Trump’s actions. Remember, folks, these are the same people who were fine with ignoring constitutional norms when it benefits their agenda. They’re quick to paint any attempt by conservatives to tighten election security as authoritarian, all while using courts and legislation to silence those they disagree with.
As Griswold runs for Colorado attorney general, some might think she’d be trying to build a platform based on coherence and integrity. Instead, she doubles down on the partisan rhetoric about January 6 and alleged insurrections, all of which have been debunked by the highest court in the land. Trump is simply taking bold steps to ensure elections are trustworthy, and not a circus of errors and manipulations.
So here we are, America. One side wants secure elections; the other seems more interested in crying wolf while eroding the cornerstone of our democratic process. Who’s truly standing up for the American voter? Could it be that those accusing others of authoritarianism are themselves the true threats to democracy?
