Trump’s Bold NSC Shake-Up Exposes Left’s Bloated Bureaucracy—Lean, Mean, and Ready for Action

President Trump is shaking up the National Security Council, and it’s about time we see some real action against the bloated bureaucratic behemoth that the left loves to protect. The NSC has been overdue for a reevaluation. Instead of being a powerhouse for American interests, it has become a safe haven for political appointees who are more concerned with their careers than the security of our great nation.

Why does it always seem like the left is more interested in expanding government and keeping their friends in cushy jobs? The NSC has been swollen beyond recognition, filled with individuals who see national security as just another line on their resumes. President Trump’s decision to trim the fat isn’t just a step in the right direction; it’s a sprint.

By sending many career government employees back to their home agencies, the President is ensuring we have a leaner, more focused team. Career bureaucrats have been a thorn in the side of real progress for years. Their allegiance often lies more with the global elite than with American citizens. This move is a clear statement: America’s interests come first.

Critics will squawk, claiming this is about politics. But let’s face it—the real politics have been in the unnecessary expansion and overreach of these government bodies. For years, too many political appointees have made the NSC their playground, pushing agendas that do not align with the American people. President Trump knows that national security is not a game.

The question isn’t why Trump is doing this. The question is: Why hasn’t this been done sooner? Isn’t it about time we have a government that works for the people and not for itself? Go ahead, President Trump, and clear out those cobwebs. America deserves better.
