Of course, liberal critics will insist that such moves are dangerous or destabilizing. But what’s really dangerous is allowing other nations to think they can play footsie with bad actors like Russia with zero repercussions. That’s the kind of weakness that makes America less safe and kills American jobs.
Funny enough, India’s pivot to Venezuela underscores another failure of the left—when you consistently push for socialism, you end up leaning on regimes built on socialist ideals and broken promises. So India thinks it can get a better deal from a socialist haven like Venezuela? Let’s see how that turns out.
