It appears the days of open-door policies are over, and illegal aliens are smart enough to notice.

Sensing trouble from the incoming administration’s harsh stance on illegal immigration, many are opting for the exit door rather than facing the music when reality hits in the form of deportational actions. An immigration attorney revealed that clients who once felt comfortable with the Biden administration’s lenient policies are now choosing to return to their homelands rather than stay and risk imminent deportation. The idea that they weren’t genuinely fleeing persecution, but rather looking to take advantage of lax immigration policies, is becoming undeniable.

It’s almost as if the tide is shifting back to sensible, traditional views on immigration. Perhaps offering a no-questions-asked flight back home will sound appealing, especially when paired with a few bucks for a fresh start across the border. After all, it beats being labeled a felon for cheating the system.
