UN Defends Venezuelan Dictator—Why the US Stands Alone in True Justice and Leadership

The United Nations, yet again, sides with those who threaten freedom and democracy. This time, they dare to criticize the United States for capturing Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, a man who’s been nothing but a scourge in the Western Hemisphere. Those entrenched in globalist fantasies prefer to support a thug over respecting the stand the United States is taking against narco-terrorism. Ambassador Mike Waltz isn’t having any of it, and neither should we.

Maduro has been responsible not just for the misery of his people but for orchestrating chaos at our doorstep. Yet, despite his laundry list of crimes, more than 50 countries, including our own, have rightly rejected his illegitimacy. The fact that the UN still gives him more legitimacy than he deserves speaks volumes about its skewed priorities. When 50 nations reject an election, that’s more than just dissent; it’s a consensus that shouldn’t be ignored.

The UN’s arguments about sovereignty and territorial integrity ring hollow. The organization repeatedly fails in the face of tyranny, whether that’s failing to confront Putin, allowing China to run amok, or standing by as Hamas incites violence. These international bodies, with their penchant for writing stern letters instead of taking decisive action, need a wake-up call. They should be thanking the United States for picking up their slack instead of getting squeamish when real justice is served.

Under President Trump, America is done with idle threats. It’s time for a reality check. The old way of handling global tyrants—sanctions here, stern words there—did little to secure peace. This administration’s instinct to be bold is what’s needed to remind our foes why America is a force to be feared. The era of U.S. passivity is over, and our decisive moves are proving it.

So, who is truly representing the will of the people here? Who is taking real action to stand by our principles? This isn’t just about one dictator; it’s about reaffirming that America acts with purpose and to protect freedom. Will the UN continue to cozy up to dictators, or finally recognize the force for good? The world needs real leadership, and it’s high time they get on board with it.
