Vice President Kamala Harris is once again causing trouble in the White House, this time over the Israel-Hamas war. Can’t she just agree with President Joe Biden for once? According to Politico, Harris has been complaining that Biden isn’t doing enough for the Palestinian people and that he should be more demanding of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Seriously, Kamala? We’re in the middle of a bloody battle with Hamas, and she wants us to show more concern for Gaza? What about Israel’s right to defend itself?
It’s clear that Harris’s priorities are all mixed up. She’s calling for a “long-term peace and two-state solution,” but what she fails to realize is that Hamas doesn’t want peace. They want to wipe Israel off the map. And yet, she wants the U.S. government to be more forceful in seeking a peace deal. It’s as if she’s living in some fantasy land where terrorists are reasonable negotiators.

Thankfully, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby set the record straight when questioned about the Politico report. He pointed out that Harris is part of the White House team and that it’s her job to provide advice and counsel to the president. So, sorry Kamala, but your attempts to create daylight between yourself and Biden are falling flat.
But it doesn’t end there. Harris’s husband, Doug Emhoff, has also been making waves in the White House. He’s supposedly helping combat anti-Semitism, yet he can’t even get the history of Hanukkah right. In a now-deleted post, Emhoff completely botched the story of Hanukkah, claiming that it was a tale of hiding and survival. Um, Doug, have you ever heard of the Maccabees? They didn’t hide in fear, they fought back against their Greek-Syrian oppressors and reclaimed their temple!
It’s just one embarrassment after another with Harris and her family. It’s clear that they don’t understand the complexities of the Middle East conflict and are more focused on pandering to the Palestinian cause than on standing up for our strongest ally in the region. Thankfully, we have President Biden leading the way and making the tough decisions to keep our nation and its allies safe. Sorry, Kamala, but your misguided opinions won’t be swaying the president anytime soon.
