Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake recently made headlines after she was asked by a reporter what she thought about the Trump proceedings in New York during an event at the former President’s Mar-a-Lago estate. Kari Lake responded to the reporter with a bold and confident answer, “I don’t know if I can say it, it’s just a sh*tshow.” This response has been met with both praise and criticism from conservatives and liberals alike.

Kari Lake’s response to the reporter’s question was a refreshingly honest and candid answer that many conservatives have been longing to hear from their elected officials. Her response was a clear indication of her unwavering loyalty to President Trump and her commitment to fighting for the values that he stands for.

When asked if she believed the court proceedings could hurt Trump in 2024, Kari Lake told the reporter, “No, not at all. Are you kidding? The guy is raising millions of dollars from people who have never donated one penny to politics. They understand, and they recognize bullying when they see it.” Kari Lake’s response is a testament to her belief that President Trump is a victim of political bullying and that his supporters will stand by him no matter what.
On Tuesday, Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 charges relating to allegations that he falsified business records pertaining to former porn star Stormy Daniels. This case is yet another example of the extreme lengths that Democrats are willing to go to in order to take down President Trump. The charges against him are politically motivated and have nothing to do with justice or the law.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Majority Leader Steve Scalise have both voiced their outrage over the case, with McCarthy vowing to hold the Soros-funded Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg accountable and Scalise calling the indictment “outrageous.” Missouri GOP Sen. Josh Hawley also weighed in on the matter, saying “Tonight’s indictment of Donald Trump isn’t about the law. It’s about power. Raw power. It’s the Democrat Party telling the nation they will stop at nothing to control the outcome of the next presidential election. It is an assault on our democracy, pure and simple.”
Kari Lake’s response to the reporter’s question is a perfect example of why conservatives need to stand up for President Trump and fight back against the politically motivated attacks from Democrats. It is clear that Democrats will do anything in their power to take down President Trump, even if it means weaponizing the federal justice process. Republicans must come together and fight back against this blatant attack on our democracy and our freedoms. Kari Lake is a shining example of what it means to be a conservative leader and a true patriot.
